Everest Base Camp

This tour to the base of the highest mountain in the world allows you to enjoy the incredible beauty of the Tibetan Plateau. The final goal is Everest Base Camp; to reach it you need to take your time to acclimatize to the altitude but what an amazing journey lies in front of you as you travel to your destination Everest Base Camp.

Tibet, with an average altitude in excess of 11,483 ft, without doubt can be considered The Roof of the World.  Lying as it does to the north of the great Himalayan range which separates it from India, Nepal and Bhutan, with its spectacular mountains, rich Buddhist culture and fascinating mix of fast growing modern cities existing side by side with glimpses of life unchanged for hundreds of years, it is  truly remarkable.
