Mount Everest North Col

Mount Everest North Col

Tibet

This tour, the closest you can get to the top of the highest mountain in the world without going to the Summit, gives you the opportunity to enjoy the incredible beauty of the Tibetan Plateau. To reach your goal you need to take your time to acclimatize to the altitude but what an amazing journey lies in front of you as you travel to your destination Mount Everest Advanced Base Camp to climb  the North Col.

Tibet, with an average altitude in excess of 11,483 ft, without doubt can be considered The Roof of the World.  Lying as it does to the north of the great Himalayan range which separates it from India, Nepal and Bhutan, with its spectacular mountains, rich Buddhist culture and fascinating mix of fast growing modern cities existing side by side with glimpses of life unchanged for hundreds of years, it is  truly remarkable.
