- Alcoholic beverages and items of a purely personal nature
- Entry visa into Nepal. Reentry visa for Nepal. The re-entry visa can be obtained at Nepalese immigration offices around the world
- Personal travel, Medical & rescue insurance
- Personal climbing equipment
- Personal equipment (see Cold Climates Equipment List)
- Respective expenses if one returns earlier from the expedition due to sickness or other problems
- Extra High Altitude Sherpa-US$ 4400 per Sherpa
