Itinerary
Day 1
Flight to Kathmandu. You will be met by our Representative in Nepal who will welcome you in the traditional Buddhist way by Pancha Kanyas (5 virgin ladies with flower garlands and Tika). Followed by transfer to your hotel by private vehicle.
Kathmandu (4,429 ft).
2 days in Kathmandu which is the largest city in the country, a fascinating mixture of ancient and modern; you will experience building sites and traffic rushing headlong into the 21st century then just by turning down a small side street you will be transported into the middle ages; beautiful hidden temples an abundance of flowers and tiny workshops.

A free day of leisure, to explore or shop.
Day 3
Kathmandu
Final expedition preparation.
Day 4
Drive Kathmandu to Listi (7,546ft.) where we will camp for the night
Day 5
Begin 10 day trek Listi to Larcha
Today we begin the acclimatization and preparation trek Listi to Larcha. Please note the itinerary might change slightly due to local conditions.
The trek begins at Listi and today you trek from Listi to Chhagam. The sketch below shows the full route of the trek. Camp overight.

Day 6
Chhagam (8,366 ft)
We will stay in Chhagam today to rest and explore. Camp for the night.

Trek from Chhagam to Chhogurmu (12,139ft.) Camp.
Day 8
Trek from Chhogurmu to Zhongla Pokhari (13,451 ft.) known as the Twin Lakes. Camp.
Day 9
Trek from Zhongla Pokhari to Ngim Pokhari/Chhopinsum (16,404ft.) known as the three lakes. Camp.
Day 10
We will explore as high as possible from Ngim Pokhari. Camp.
Day 11
Trek from Ngim Pokhari to Geyul (13,944ft.) here we will see the Bhairav Lake. Camp.

Day 12
Trek from Geyul to Jorpati (12,139 ft.). Camp.
Day 13
Trek from Jorpati to Tashi Thang (8,202 ft). Camp.
Day 14
Trek from Tashi Thang to Larcha (4,921 ft.) then by road to the Friendship Bridge at Kodari cross to Zhangmu (7,546 ft.) at last we are in Tibet. Tonight we stay in a Guest House.
Day 15
Drive from Zhangmu to Nyalam (12,303ft.). Stay in a Guest House.
Day 16
Drive from Nyalam to Thingri (14,764ft.). The last night in a Guest House, from now on we will be camping in sight of Mount Everest.
Day 17
Drive Thingri to Base Camp Everest (16,640 ft.)

Day 18 - Day 50 For the next 33 days we will be training and acclimatizing ready for the Summit.

Day 52 - Day 59
These days are put aside for further Summit attempts if needed.
Day 60
Trek down from Advanced Base Camp (20,480 ft.) to Base Camp (16,640 ft.)
Day 61
The last day camping under Mount Everest. Packing up and getting ready to leave.
Day 62
Drive Everest Base Camp to Nyalam (12,303 ft)

Leaving the National Park
This spectacular drive joins the Friendship Highway crossing 2 high passes; the Lalung La (16,811 ft) and the Shung La (17,060 ft) with magnificent views of the surrounding peaks of Shishapangma, Cho Oyu, Menlungtse and Gauri Shankar.

Our destination of Nyalam is just 18 miles from the Nepalese border and dramatically suddenly everything is lush and green. Nyalam is a small town that has been a significant trading centre between Nepal and Tibet for thousands of years.
Day 63
Exit Tibet drive to Kathmandu (4429 ft) transfer to hotel
After breakfast we drive few miles further to the Friendship Bridge (mark of Nepal-China border) over the Bhote Koshi River, and walk to the Nepal border to complete the immigration formalities. Our staff will be waiting at the border for the 5 hour drive to Kathmandu through the beautiful Nepalese countryside.

Day 65
Transfer to Airport for international departure
You will be met by our representative at the hotel for transfer to the airport and seen off with the Khada ceremony (a white scarf which embodies purity and good fortune is presented to you a practice among Tibetan people to express their best wishes. You receive the khada with both hands. You then proceed to international departure.
